Our wood

Our wood

Solid wood
furniture:
oak, walnut, and beech

At VESKOR, wood is not just a material. It is the starting point for every piece of furniture.

We select premium solid wood furniture made primarily from oak, walnut, and beech, created in small European workshops where mastery of the material remains an essential part of the process.

Authentic wood

Noble materials for furniture that lasts

We believe good furniture starts with good raw materials. That is why solid wood takes center stage in VESKOR collections.

We work with solid oak, walnut, and beech furniture, selected for their strength, natural beauty, and ability to gain character over time.

Each species has its own personality: from the brightness and versatility of oak, to the elegant depth of walnut, or the serenity and uniformity of beech.

Instead of covering the wood with opaque layers, many of our pieces are finished with oil, allowing the texture, pores, and grain to remain visible and pleasant to the touch.

01

Oak

Solid oak

Oak is one of the key materials at VESKOR and one of the most prized woods in European furniture.

Its distinct grain, strength, and warm tone allow for the creation of dining tables, sideboards, beds, display cabinets, and living room furniture capable of fitting into both contemporary interiors and more classic spaces.

With an oil finish, oak retains a very natural appearance and is pleasant to the touch.

Character Warm and natural
Grain Visible and expressive
Ideal for Everyday furniture
02

Walnut

Solid walnut

Walnut adds a deeper and more sophisticated presence to an interior.

Its brown tones, natural contrasts, and grain movement make every piece an element with a strong visual identity.

Walnut furniture works especially well in premium interiors, where the material can become the star without the need to resort to excessive decorative elements.

Character Elegant and deep
Color Warm brown
Ideal for Sophisticated interiors
03

Beech

Solid beech

Beech stands out for its light tone, smooth texture, and balanced appearance.

It is a strong and versatile wood, especially suitable for furniture with clean lines and Scandinavian-inspired or contemporary environments.

Its serene appearance allows the design and proportions of the furniture to be the true protagonists.

Character Bright and serene
Texture Fine and uniform

The heart of VESKOR

Our special relationship with oak

Among all the woods that make up our collections, oak holds a particularly important place.

Solid oak furniture combines strength, beauty, and an enormous capacity to adapt to different interior styles.

An oak table can become the centerpiece of a dining room for decades. A sideboard or an oak bed gains character with use and the natural evolution of the material.

That is why we select designs capable of respecting the wood, leaving visible the grains, tones, and small details that make each piece different.

Natural finish

Wood protected with oil

Many VESKOR pieces are finished with wood oil.

Unlike finishes that create a thick film on the surface, oil allows for a more natural feel closer to the material itself.

The goal is to protect the wood without hiding its texture or character. The surface continues to show the depth of the grain and retains a warm, authentic touch.

Natural touch

The surface retains a feeling close to the original wood.

Visible grain

The finish enhances the patterns and contrasts inherent to the material.

Maintenance

The protection can be renewed periodically when necessary.

Natural evolution

The wood can develop new nuances over time.

Small European productions

Furniture created by people who know wood

For us, the origin of a piece of furniture is as important as its design.

That is why we collaborate primarily with small workshops and European family-run producers, where woodworking remains linked to craft expertise.

A smaller scale of production allows for greater attention to the selection of the material, the proportions, the joinery, and the finishing.

We are not looking for anonymous production or furniture designed solely to respond to fleeting trends. We prefer pieces with identity, created to accompany an interior for many years.

That direct relationship with small manufacturers also allows us to better understand each collection, its materials, possibilities, and construction details.

Each piece is unique

The perfection of wood lies in its differences

Solid wood is a natural material. That means two pieces of furniture from the same model never have the exact same grain.

Knots, small tonal shifts, lighter or darker areas, and differences in the fiber pattern are part of the very nature of oak, walnut, or beech.

These variations are not defects. They are precisely the characteristics that distinguish natural wood furniture from a completely uniform industrial surface.

Over time, light and the environment can also gently modify the tone of the wood, ensuring that each piece continues to evolve.

No two trees are alike. Therefore, no two solid wood pieces of furniture are exactly the same.

Care

Wood meant to live with you

01

For regular cleaning, use a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry the surface afterwards.

02

Avoid abrasive products and prolonged contact with water or other liquids.

03

Keep the furniture away from direct and intense heat sources.

04

For furniture with an oil finish, the protection can be renewed periodically with a suitable product for natural wood.

05

A stable environment and balanced humidity help to correctly preserve solid wood furniture.

Real wood. Timeless design. Furniture with character.

If you need help choosing between oak, walnut or beech, comparing finishes, or selecting furniture for a complete project, our team can advise you personally.
